Once a go-to pistol for the Terrorist side, the TEC-9 has some uniquely rare skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Based on the frequency of trading surrounding a given item on the CS:GO Community Market, the rarity of any given item can be determined, and with that information, these are the five rarest TEC-9 skins in the game.
5. Hades
The Hades skin has a ton of soldier masks on it from the Greek-era who have been, presumably, killed by the God of Death. While not considered eye-candy by many, and shown by its extremely cheap price on the market, the Hades comes from a very early Gods and Monsters Collection, which is hard to find.
4. Titanium Bit
Found in one of the oldest cases in the game, the CS:GO Weapons Case 3, the Titanium Bit is seldom found in the game. The pistol is almost completely black, except for a blue and white section on the top of the gun.
3. Nuclear Threat
The Nuclear Threat is the most expensive TEC-9 skin by far with a factory new version setting one back about $300. With the steep price tag comes a certain rarity, causing most to hold onto theirs. The Nuclear Threat is found in the Nuke Collection, which is shown by its name and green nuclear symbol showcased on the gun.
2. Terrace
The Terrace is one of the weirdest skins in CS:GO with a strange yellow, white and purple pattern across the gun. Found in the Rising Sun Collection, the Terrace is not worth a lot, but is old enough to be rarely found in boxes, contributing to its rarity.
1. Tornado
The Tornado is one of the cheapest TEC-9 skins in the game with a factory new version only costing a little less than $5. However, the skin was introduced in the Alpha Collection, a very early and hard to find collection, making it very rare.
