Anne Marie MolkentinObituary

Anne Marie Molkentin, 83, of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away on February 11, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born to James and Florence Hildebrand on January 23, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack, her four children, Lynnette, John, Erik, and Matthew Molkentin, her grandchildren, Jake, Sarah, Abigail, Emily, her daughter in law Sandra Molkentin, and sister, Flory Cuff.

Anne and Jack met in Bay Ridge Brooklyn back in 1959. They were married a couple of years later and have been soulmates ever since. She had a wonderful life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Anne had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and play games with family and friends. Bridge, canasta, mahjong, and rummikub were some of her favorites. She was a very skilled artist and art teacher who created many beautiful oil, pastels, acrylic, watercolor and charcoal show pieces. Although she was an award-winning accomplished artist and sold many paintings, sharing her creation with the people she loved is what made her heart smile! Anne was also an amazing cook. When entertaining, her house was always decorated in a warm and seasonal manner. She loved to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and swim in the ocean. The beach was always her favorite place to visit, relax, and enjoy a good book.

Today she is relaxing in Heaven with our Savior Lord and Creator, as well as her parents, siblings, and friends. We will miss you Mom and we will always think of you when we see your favorite flower, the daisy, for these sunny springtime blooms represent all that you embody- love, joy, beauty, loyalty, and innocence.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 731 N. Ocean Boulevard Pompano Beach, FL 33062
