This 1-year-old nautical-industrial retreat on the Intracoastal Waterway in the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina has launched a barbecue brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sundays, with an acoustic musician.
“Since we have the outdoors available to us, we decided to do a grill station where you can get burgers, hot dogs, smoked chicken and skirt steak,” says co-owner Andy Patton, who offered an a la carte brunch last winter.
The buffet is $22 for adults and $12 for children younger than 13, plus bottomless mimosas, bloody marys and rosé wine for an extra $15. Highlights include seafood salad, sausage frittata and eggs Benedict with sausage gravy amid omelet and waffle stations, pancakes, French toast and seafood.
Additions to the modern American dinner menu from their new wood-stone oven include margherita flatbread ($10), chipotle shrimp flatbread ($15), Catalan-style mussels or clams with chorizo ($13), house-smoked jumbo wings ($8, $15) and three to seven daily kinds of seafood (market price), such as hogfish, lobster or Hawaiian unicornfish.
“The emphasis is on the freshness,” Patton says.
