Bethesda College graduates first class of nurses

On May 9, Bethesda College of Health Sciences graduated its first class of 15 nurses, including two males and 13 females, at Bethesda Hospital East.

The nursing program is a five-semester program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing that focuses on the general education and technical skills necessary for providing patient care.

“Nursing graduates, you are standing at the threshold of a fulfilling career,” Jeanette Kamciyan, sean of Health Sciences said in a prepared statement. “This commencement marks the beginning of a life as a professional nurse where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow if you keep an open and inquiring mind.”

The college also offers a two-year, full-time radiography program, which prepares students as radiographers.
