This Keys-themed mini chain, founded in Lighthouse Point in 2004, has introduced its fourth location in Coral Landings III plaza.
“A love of South Florida life, fishing, the Keys, sports and a casual, laid-back atmosphere led to the inspiration,” says Jane McLaughlin, an owner with her son, C.J., and her husband, Chuck, whose nicknamed Bonefish Mac. “Patrons are encouraged to bring their fishing brag pictures to dot the walls.”
Favorites on the infinite menu include Mango tango margarita ($7.99), Mac daddy nachos served on a pizza stand ($12.49), Seafood egg roll Bonefish wrappers ($8.49), Lobster Cobb salad ($12.99), Fish ‘n chips ($11.99), Mahi Reuben (market price), Deep sea crack mac ($12.99, $16.99) and Bayou Cajun sirloin ($19.99).
Lunch, featuring a $6.99 weekday special, and dinner are served daily amid an ambiance reflecting the rustic flats of the upper Keys and the vibrant fun of Key West. Parents can monitor their children playing in the mini arcade on one of the many TVs. A spacious, covered patio incorporates a bar.
