Casting League of Legends Players as Star Wars Characters

Have you ever wondered, if George Lucas somehow had future sight and could pick League of Legends players to fill the roles for his four main protagonists in Star Wars, who they would be?

Well I have! So, I'm presenting to you four players, active and retired, who would embody Obi-Wan, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker. Enjoy!

4. Kevin "Hauntzer" Yarnell as Han Solo

Han Solo is rough and tumble, but he is also Luke's right-hand man and most trusted ally after Obi-Wan's death. It's only appropriate that Bjergsen's most trusted ally on TSM, Hauntzer, takes this mantle. He kind of looks like a young Han Solo anyway, right?

Probably not, but what the heck.

3. Micheal "Imaqtpie" Santana as Chewbacca

In the Star Wars series, Chewbacca was used mainly for comic relief alongside Harrison Ford's Han Solo. It wasn't until Revenge of the Sith was released that we learned Chewy used to play a big part in the Clone Wars, being a Wookie commander for the Republic.

Who better to fill this roll than Imaqtpie who used to have a more important role in the LCS as the face of Team Dignitas?

2. Martin "Rekkles" Larsson as Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ah, Rekkles. Once seen as Europe's great hope, he failed to defeat the common enemy: any Korean team. Now he has been exiled to a Fnatic squad that can barely make playoffs, but hopefully he has set an example for our Luke on this list. The real Obi-Wan would be proud.

1. Soren "Bjergsen" Bjerg as Luke Skywalker

Bjergsen is arguably the best player in the League of Legends Western region, being a part of TSM for most of their NA LCS success. He can also be seen as the player who, given the right supporting cast, has the best chance of being the savior of North America.

Sound familiar to a certain Jedi? I'm sure it does.
