A debate on the relevance of the Second Amendment, which gives citizens the right to keep and bear arms, has been scheduled at Florida Atlantic University’s campus in Boca Raton in observance of Constitution Day.
The debate is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 on the plaza outside the S.E. Wimberly Library, but will be moved inside in the event of inclement weather.
Dr. Kevin Wagner, assistant professor of political science, will moderate the debate, which is aimed at sparking interest in Constitutional issues among students.
