Mortal Kombat 11 Cyrax has been confirmed to appear in the game, as the character showed his cyborg mug in the launch trailer released Thursday. Here's what we know so far.

Mortal Kombat 11 Cyrax: Cyborg Appears in Launch Trailer
Cyrax is a member of the Lin Kuei clan of cyborg assassins, which also includes Sektor and Smoke. None of the three has been listed so far among Mortal Kombat 11's playable characters, which made it all the more surprising when both Cyrax and Sektor appeared in Thursday's trailer.
Cyrax makes his dramatic entrance when Scorpion and Sub-Zero are on their way to stop Kronika from rewriting history. He and the other Lin Kuei cyborgs appear to be on Kronika's side of the conflict.
It's not yet clear whether the cyborgs will be playable or whether they'll be used simply as story pieces. They may also end up as DLC fighters, but NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have yet to announce anything.
