Details regarding the circumstances of the site’s downtime are unknown.
The Canada-based Plentyoffish.com is a free online dating site founded in 2003. As of 2008, it ranked first in page visits amongst online dating sites in both the United States and the United Kingdom, according to the comScore Media Matrix.
