David Pearson Obituary, Death Cause – When David was in the third grade, his family relocated from Illinois to Washburn, which is located in the state of Wisconsin. They chose to make their home on land that was held by the Pearson family and that was located just to the east of Washburn’s Memorial Park. During his time at the high school, he was active in a number of sports and even learned how to ski on the mountain that was right next to the school. After he graduated from high school, he enrolled in UW-Superior to continue his study.
David was a naturally creative and gifted individual who also had a profound passion for nature and the outdoors. He loved spending time in the great outdoors. He was an accomplished downhill skier as well as an athlete, and he kept a lot of people on the ski slope entertained with his jumps, twists, and flips. In addition to that, he was an avid hunter. When he was a young adult, he used to take his time off during the winter months to go skiing in the powder in Colorado with his buddies from Washburn. He was fortunate enough to have a vast circle of devoted friends, many of whom shared his enthusiasm for hobbies such as hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.
After being married to his wife Raelyn Rusch in 1979, her family approached him and asked if he would be interested in joining their firm, Washburn Iron Works, Inc. Up until that point, he had spent the majority of his time in the Washburn region working in the construction trades. In 2016, he decided to stop working at the foundry and retire instead.
