Anyone who has ever wondered what exactly is in Deerfield Beach’s so-called “plant museum” is invited to find out when the Deerfield Beach Arboretum hosts its second annual Garden Gathering from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 19.
Gardeners and master gardeners will be on hand to answer any and all plant questions and 30 minute tours will be led by Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum volunteers from the Japanese garden to the nursery. Reasonably priced plants, grown in the Arboretum’s own nursery, will also be for sale.
Master gardeners will also host a plant clinic.
Miss this event and the next opportunity will be the all-volunteer organization’s Spring Sale next April.
