Fatima Silva Reasonable Doubt
Silva co-hosts Reasonable Doubt together with investigator Chris Anderson. The show follows the gut-wrenching process of re-exploring murder cases in which the perpetrators convicted of the crime maintain their innocence.
Talking about her experience on the show, Silva said; “Most shows seem scripted so I was afraid this would be something that digs up people’s wounds for entertainment purposes. It’s far from that.
“Chris Anderson and I are in the trenches investigating these cases. Our sole focus is looking for answers for these families. We are searching for the truth.”
When asked about the most challenging part of the show, Silva said; “Aside from the extensive travel and time away from my husband, the most difficult part of the show is sitting across from a family member and telling them you believe their loved one is possibly guilty of murder.
“It breaks me. I pray for compassion and understanding each time I have to do it. As a defense attorney, I normally don’t have to make this kind of call, but on this show, if we don’t think we can free the convict, we have to free the family.”
