Prior, to working on the Mets’ broadcast team in 1989, He worked from 1983 to 1984 as the voice of the minor league Spartanburg Spinners. He announced from 1987 to 1988 on Pawtucket Red Sox and also Durham Bulls in 1986. In addition, he served from 1988 to 1989 calling ice hockey as well as basketball games for Providence College.

For many years he has called men’s college basketball games. He started up by working with St. John’s on WFAN and he aired from 1995 to 2002. After St. John’s games took over WFAN’s radio rights, he started airing Seton Hall games and continues to do so to this day.
