Overwatch's Genji is one of the game's most popular characters, so it's only suitable he should be the recipient of some of the game's best skins. With so many to choose from, Blizzard has made picking your ninja's skin akin to being a kid in a candy store.
13. Ochre
Let me put it this way: In my approximately 500 hours logged playing Overwatch, I've seen one player using Genji's Ochre skin. I guess they wanted to look like the world's stealthiest macaroni noodle, but most of the world does not.
12. Cinnabar
Cinnabar ranks pretty low for similar reasons: people barely use it and there's no real wonder why. If you're going to play a cyborg ninja, do you really want to run around looking like a penny or a cinnamon bun?
11. Azurite
Here's where they start getting decent. Azurite is, at least, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. One questions the logic in a ninja running around in such a bright shade of blue, though. Maybe Ana put him up to it to help land her shots on him with all his double-jumping around.
10. Malachite
While a bit of an eyesore at first, Malachite is nevertheless one of Genji's only skins to feature green to go with the glow of his sword swipes. If you're a sucker for color coordination, this is the skin for you. As Genji himself would put it, "My name is... Green cyborg ninja dude!"
9. Chrome
For the most part, Chrome reverses Genji's usual colors. The notable silver sheen makes the cyborg ninja look even more metallic. The yellow glow to top it off is just icing on the cake, and it gives him a somewhat eerie vibe.
8. Carbon Fiber
Here's where it starts getting really good. Carbon Fiber is an epic blend of black and navy blue sure to please anyone looking to play a sleek assassin. It even inspired a small Facebook community called Genji's Carbon Fiber Ass, apparently a testament to the skin's sex appeal.
7. Young Genji
If you're willing to risk being called "weeb trash," Young Genji is a throwback to the ninja's pre-cyborg days. You've got to hand it to Blizzard for bothering to animate his face when it's visible for so few of his skins -- other developers might not bother.
6. Sparrow
Essentially a recolor of his Young Genji skin, Sparrow features a more cohesive color scheme, sticking to a simple black and green format. If his Dragonblade doesn't strike terror into the hearts of his enemies, then surely his eyebrows will.
5. Nomad
Nomad comes practically out of nowhere, featuring a more Middle East-inspired look. Genji foregoes his more practical uniform for a more ornate appearance. If you've ever wanted to trade his katana for a scimitar, this skin is sure to please.
4. Bedouin
Bedouin is much the same as Nomad, but with a darker appearance to better fit his sneaky playstyle. Black and blue just looks so good on Genji, and who among us honestly hasn't thought curled toes look snazzy from time to time?
3. Nihon
Something about the matte-white finish on his armor perfectly complements the sinister appearance of his inner red glow in Genji's Nihon skin. This Summer Games skin existed back when users couldn't purchase limited-time skins even during the event, so Nihon is rare to boot.
2. Oni
Blizzard really hit it out of the park with this one. Oni is currently limited to those who have completed the Heroes of the Storm Nexus Challenge, but Game Director Jeff Kaplan has confirmed both Oni Genji and Officer D.Va skins will eventually be available in normal Loot Boxes.
1. Blackwatch
Topping off our list is Blackwatch, because who doesn't love a Genji who looks this sinister? With this skin, the cyborg ninja finally matches the half-shirtless look of his murderous older brother. Blizzard sure knows how to please their fans.
