Hot sauce Hillary? Clinton tells interviewer she always carries the condiment

Hillary Clinton’s love for hot sauce – a quirk that recently resurfaced during a radio interview on Monday – is causing an uproar on social media.

The hot sauce debacle began during The Breakfast Club on April 18, when Clinton was asked to name something she always carries with her.

“Hot sauce,” the politician answered, with no hesitation.

Charlemagne tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, who were interviewing Clinton, looked shocked.

“Ok listen, I just want you to know, people are going to see this and say ‘Ok, she’s pandering to black people,’” Charlemagne said.

Clinton laughed, joking “Is it working’?” before continuing to talk about her hot sauce habits. According to Time, Clinton has been a hot sauce aficionado for decades, keeping the spicy condiment – as well as raw chili peppers – handy for a slew of health reasons.

Although Clinton’s affinity for hot sauce reportedly started in 1992, some people are skeptical about the news.

Donald Trump, for one, isn’t buying it.

“She carries hot sauce like I carry hot sauce,” the real estate mogul said on an episode of “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday. “It’s just so phony, so pandering, so terrible.”

The topic has also caused a whirlwind of reactions from social media. Take a look:

All I’m saying is, Hillary Clinton actually likes hot sauce. Let’s stop talking about it and get on with our lives
