How many operators are in R6? Well, operators are unique characters each player chooses every phase of the game that have their own distinctive gadget and play style. All post-launch operators are unlocked with Renown—the game's in-game currency gathered from completing matches and challenges.
You can also unlock operators with R6 Credits. The operators range from 240-600 R6 Credits. Just to give you a sense of the price, you can buy 600 R6 credits with $4.99.

There are currently 54 playable operators stemming from the 24 Counter Terrorist Units in the game. With the new operation that arrived earlier in year five—Operation Void Edge—two new operators have been added to the game: Iana and Oryx.
Both of these operators will cost you 25,000 renown each, or you can opt for the year 5 pass for $24.99 which will give you four new operators when they come out later in the year alongside more changes you can read about here.
