Graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville, Kal shared a special connection with the town, and that’s where we bonded. The memory of our discussions about Platteville, where my grandfather, Homer Rundell, once had a farm, and where my mother spent her childhood, will forever remain dear to me. Kal’s friendship felt like family, and I will miss him immensely.
