League of Legends' Rammus Rework Detailed

Rammus in League of Legends appears to be getting some reworks. According to a tweet from Mark Yetter, Gameplay Design Director for League of Legends, an update should be dropping soon, changing a lot about Rammus' kit.

Yetter mentioned multiple goals for Rammus, along with what some of the upcoming changes will be. One of the first mentioned goals was to, "Increase gameplay options. Give a historically linear character more choices and interactions beyond just running at someone and taunting. Broadening gameplay should also help Rammus out in higher MMR's."

Some of the changes Yetter mentioned are to Rammus's Puncturing Taunt (E) and the new Soaring Slam (R). For Puncturing Taunt, the taunt duration will be increased on monsters. However, the cooldown time will never change, and the taunt duration on champions and minions has been decreased. For Soaring Slam, "Rammus leaps into the air and slams down at a target location. Dealing magic damage and slowing enemies for 1 second." On top of that, if players activate Soaring Slam out of Rammus's Powerball (Q), enemies towards the center of the leap get knocked up, and take damage from the Powerball. Soaring Slam can also be used on towers, but the cooldown takes much longer.

Overall, these changes to Rammus appear to buff the champion overall.
