She was 58 years old. We are left with one question as we grieve the death of a loved one who during the course of their life wore many hats, including but not limited to: a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, a best friend, a co-worker, and a partner in crime for a fun adventure. The 25th of May, 1965 found Lori Ann Brown being welcomed into the world in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. She was the third child to be born to Ronald and Yvonne Brown. She spent her childhood years growing up in a few different tiny communities across the province of Saskatchewan before her family finally settled in Lynn Lake in the early 1970s. It was during this time that she also established some friends who would remain with her for the rest of her life. You could think of these people as additional siblings to her family. Despite the fact that there was a connection and love that lasted a lifetime, there were many experiences, lessons, smiles, and tears brought on by growing up with this close-knit group of youngsters.
Their parents undoubtedly had a lot more gray hairs than they would want to acknowledge, but nonetheless, there was a bond and love that lasted a lifetime. As you would probably anticipate, as time went on it was time for a new experience. This is what brought Lori to Winnipeg in the early 1980s, then to Gillam for a few years, and then to Saskatoon when she was in her early 20s. All of these places were in Saskatchewan. When Lori first began working in the field of health care, she did it at the Lutheran Home in Saskatoon. Because of her kind, compassionate, and loving demeanor, she was an obvious choice for this role.
