After a huge period of anticipation and waiting, there is finally some new information regarding Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and here’s everything that you need to know about it.
Developed by Firaxis Games in collaboration with the comic book franchise, Marvel’s Midnight Suns presents a tactical RPG that is set in the darker side of the canonical universe. While the game was originally meant to launch in the second half of 2022, we finally have a release date on our hands.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns release date
After months of anticipation, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is now finally available for pre-ordering along with a confirmed release date — the upcoming RPG will be released on October 7, 2022. Although there are still a few months to go before the game arrives, you can choose to pre-order the title right now if you want to.
Additionally, the developers have also confirmed that the game will have four different editions, each of which will feature a respective tier of rewards when you purchase a specific edition.

Apart from these, the game will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch platform. However, there is no confirmed date or time period as to when that might happen. Gameplay
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical strategy RPG that features turn-based combat. At the beginning of every encounter, players will be issued with a deck of cards tailored to the team of heroes they’ve brought on each mission. They’ll need to creatively use these cards to deal damage, use skills, and unleash hero move ultimate attacks in order to win battles.
The game’s protagonist, known as The Hunter, is a fully customizable character who will be teaming up with an array of Superheroes from the Marvel universe during the course of the game.
The core gameplay loop will be split between taking on missions and spending time at the in-game hub, The Abbey, where players will be able to explore, upgrade gear and get to know their superhero partners.
