Miami Dolphins | How to watch Saturday’s Dolphins-Chiefs game, the NFL’s first playoff game not on broadcast TV nationally

Worried that you won’t be able to watch the Dolphins game on Saturday night (8 p.m.) because you don’t subscribe to NBC’s streaming service Peacock? Well, don’t worry.

The simulcast of the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium will be aired locally on NBC6 in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The game, however, will not be broadcast on local TV in Palm Beach County.

It marks the first time that an NFL playoff game will be available exclusively through a streaming service and not on broadcast TV for a national audience.

Peacock is $5.99 per month for the premium subscription with ads, and $11.99 for the premium plus option without ads.

The game also will be available on local TV on NBC in the Kansas City area.

The Dolphins, who are 4 1/2-point underdogs, haven’t won a postseason game in 23 years, dating back to a 23-17 overtime win over the Colts on Dec. 30, 2000.

The Dolphins missed out on a chance at their first AFC East title in 15 years and to be at home for at least the first two rounds of the playoffs with Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills at Hard Rock Stadium. It was their third loss in five games.

Miami (11-6), which held a three-game lead in the division with five weeks remaining in the regular season, fell to the No. 6 seed in the playoffs.
