Our community wants to connect with teachers in the virtual world. However, the current technology provided by our district is over 18 years old. Virtual meetings that should take 30 minutes to prepare for, are taking hours due to technological glitches. I can temporarily get on to a virtual meeting, but once I try to share my screen, use my digital camera or join a break out room, I consistently crash. Digital instruction videos (like screen casting) fail if they're over 4 minutes, requiring multiple attempts and trouble shooting. My families want to keep learning, even though we are doing so from home. Please help us maintain some normalcy and growth during these unprecedented times with the requested laptop.
