Frenelson Atilus, CG, Dwyer senior: Averaged 10.8 points, 3 rebounds, 3.7 assists to lead the Panthers to the state championship; said he was most proud of winning state and getting his coach another ring.
Jackson Baer, SG, Jupiter senior: Holds school record for most 3-pointers made in a season; three-year varsity member started two seasons; Averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals per game; happy to be a part of the first 20-win season since 2013.
Hedrens Bartelus, G/F, Lake Worth junior: The explosive forward played in all 24 games and averaged 13.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, steals, and blocks;helped the Trojans to a 22-2 record; had 15 games in double figures with a high score of 28 in a win over Santaluces.
Shawn Cineus, Wing/F, Wellington senior: Team captain and two-year member of the varsity averaged 12.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and shot 42.9% from distance; named All-Tournament Rising Stars Showcase; part of a program that won 20 games two straight seasons; defeated nation’s No. 29-ranked team, Jackson Reed D.C., in Holiday Classic.
Marvin Golf, G/F, Lake Worth senior: Three-year varsity starter; lone team to defeat state champion Dwyer this year;scored 20 points in the district championship and had 10 steals in a game; averaged 12 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists;
Ethan Litten, F, Spanish River junior: Team captain and second-year varsity member averaged 16.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game; scored 29 points against rival Boca High this season; also played soccer and runs track and field.
Matthew Puodziukaitis, C/PF, Palm Beach Central junior: Led Broncos in almost every statistical category; averaged 13.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks per game; had 14 double-doubles; finished top-10 in rebounds in 7A.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Fred Ross, Dwyer: Led the Panthers to the Class 6A state championship, the fourth in school history, and a 29-1 overall mark with a 51-40 victory over Ponte Vedra. Ross, who last won a state title in 2011, is the first coach from the county to win four state championships. The Panthers broke a tie with Pahokee (1977, 1982, 1983) and Suncoast (1984, 1985 1990).”They’re hungry and motivated. Unlike when we were in the same position two years ago, we could finish this time.”
