Red Dead Redemption 2 legendary elk location, like many of the other legendary animal locations, can be tricky to nail down. The game provides ample ways to get a sense of where to find the elk, but its exact location isn't always easy to ascertain. Here's how to find it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Elk Location
The legendary elk can be found in Ambarino, just east of Bacchus Station. Once you reach that area, dismount from your horse and start exploring on foot. Provided you're in the right spot, you should get a notification on your screen stating you've entered legendary animal territory.
When that notification pops, enter hunting vision and start looking around for a golden indicator. This will be your first clue to finding the elk. Follow the trail it produces to the next clue, then to a third clue. At this point the elk itself will spawn, and you'l be able to hunt it down.
