A Red Dead Redemption 2 special edition controller would be another beautiful addition to any enthusiast's collection on top of all the high quality goods already tying in with the western game. But does such a controller exist? Here's what you need to know.

Unfortunately for fans looking to show off their Red Dead Redemption 2 love with a spiffy new controller, no official Red Dead Redemption 2 special edition controllers exist. Some enterprising fans have created custom controllers on their own that, in some ways, outdo anything Rockstar Games itself would offer.
These fan-made controllers are less beholden to usability, and thus can add details and pieces that appeal visually even as they sacrifice comfort. Such details can include brass buttons and control sticks, evocative of the bullets whizzing constantly by in Red Dead Redemption 2's wild, lawless and violent world.
But as cool as the fan-made offerings are, they can't quite fill the gap left by a lack of official special edition controllers.
