Alongside the Mid-Season Invitational, Riot Games has announced
The Fandom Battle has summoners around the globe equipping their region's icon and representing that region during their gameplay.
There will be updates on the official Fandom Battle page (linked above) letting summoners know which region is leading in the total count.
The current lead has CBLOL in the lead, with LLN and EU LCS following behind.
Players earn points for time they compete in a game with their favorite region's summoner icon.
Players who used the icon for the winning region in the Fandom Battle will receive rewards, such as a Winner's Icon and IP boost, once the final results are released on May 21.
Summoners can purchase a region icon for 1 IP or a Tier 2 icon for 250 RP to participate and contribute to the MSI Fandom Battle, with those who purchased earning a temporary emote usable during the event.
Winning summoners can expect to see the rewards within two weeks of the contest ending.
