In addition, Sarah also spent considerable time in a Broadcast Practicum at our sister station KBJR-TV in Duluth. She was a GIS intern with the National Park Service in Ashland at the time of fall 2016. She is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and has had SKYWARN Certified Storm Spotter Training.
Gannon was passionate and fascinated with the weather ever since elementary school when she read a book about clouds. Growing up, she always liked to track hurricanes in the tropics and stay up to date on the latest severe weather When she is not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her cats, family, and friends from the area or cozy up with a good book.
