Shaquill Griffin Madden 20 Rating

Griffin's current Madden 20 rating is an 82, which is one point lower than he was rated after Week 9. The 83 rating he achieved in Week 9 was his highest of the season, as he started the year as an 80.

Griffin always bolstered a solid rating in Madden, though he could receive a major ratings update after a statement game against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Griffin has 10 pass breakups on the season, which the second highest total among cornerbacks in the NFL this season.

Playing Monday against the previously undefeated 49ers, Griffin earned a Pro Football Focus coverage grade of a 90.0. His elite cover skills, ball hawk mentality and play in a high stakes game might finally get Griffin the major ratings boost that he ultimately deserves. It's also possible Griffin's performance earns him a spot on the Madden 20 Team of the Week, though the team will be released later in the week.

Next time we play Madden we could expect to see Griffin in the upper 80s, or perhaps he'll even reach the benchmark of 90.
