Shiny Ralts Pokemon GO will be available during August's Pokemon GO Community Day. Here's everything you need to know to snag yourself a Shiny Ralts.
Shiny Ralts Pokemon GO: How to Catch It
On Aug 3 from 4PM-7PM in your local time, the Psychic Pokemon Ralts will appear more frequently. This also means that Shiny Ralts will appear more frequently, and it's hard to miss Shiny Pokemon during Community Day. The normal encounter rate for a Shiny in Pokemon GO is one in 450, but on Community Day that rate increases dramatically to about one in 25.
Shiny Ralts has light blue "hair" instead of green, and its horn is orange. Its body will also have a slight pink tint. If you encounter a Shiny Ralts, it will also sparkle to indicate that it's special.
If you evolve Kirlia (the evolved form of Ralts) into Gardevoir or Gallade during the event or for up to an hour after the event concludes, it will learn a move it can't normally get. The exclusive move hasn't been announced yet. Gallade will also need a Sinnoh Stone to evolve, so be sure you get one before the event starts.
In addition, Eggs placed in the Incubator during the event will hatch in a fourth the normal distance.
