Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students come from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Some have limited English proficiency and some have limited resources to read at home. My students will be going from fully virtual to in-person learning next school year. Teachers will have a major impact on that success.
Testing incentives will help students to push themselves and give them motivation.
The incentives will be given for students with A/B passing or improved test scores from the last administration.
These incentives provide a motivation to those who are already doing well or the scholars who need to improve. Please help me give them a little extra reward for doing the outstanding job I know they will! The art kits, robot kits, and books will be considered larger items. Larger items will be raffled through a tiered reward system (A=4 tickets, B=3 tickets, improvement = 2 tickets) and smaller items will be distributed for passing. Items such as fidgets, stickers, and candy are smaller ticket items
