VIDEO: Tracer Emotes to Stall the Payload

​Although you may not want to think too outside the box in competitive Overwatch, a little quick thinking and improvisation can sometimes be the difference between winning and losing.

Redditor YouHadMeAtHaloo posted a highlight featuring some tricky Tracer-ing on Junkertown. The player confidently blinks over to the payload where the enemy team is executing a standard El Presidente strat, protecting a turreted Bastion with Orisa's shield. Using Tracer's sit emote, our hero plops down next to the payload, preventing it from moving forward.

It's clear that Bastion and Orisa can see Tracer while she's in the sitting position and they can't understand why the payload isn't progressing forward. It gives ​​YouHadMeAtHaloo's team the chance to also jump on the payload and deconstruct the Presidente. 

​Emotes are traditionally only used for hanging out in the spawn room or making peace during skirmishes, but ​occasionally, as we see here, they can come in handy!
