Where to Find Wisp in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Wisp, like in previous games, appears only at night. He's a timid ghost who will split into five smaller spirits when you talk to him. These smaller spirit pieces look like glowing green water droplets floating in the air. You'll have to go around your island looking for the spirits. When you find one, you have to catch them with your net.

Sometimes, spirits will float to parts where you can't reach unless you have the ladder or vaulting pole. If you wait around and go do something else, the spirits should, eventually, move to be within your reach.

When you catch all five spirits, bring them back to Wisp and he'll reward you with your choice of either "something new" or "something expensive." The new option appears to grant a random piece of furniture you don't already own, while the expensive option gives a random expensive item.

You'll also get Nook Miles for completing the Wisp quest. Wisp won't come every night, but if you run into him make sure you help him out.
