A Winter Park man was arrested on several fraud-related charges after being accused of stealing nearly $4 million from Central Floridians, according to a report from WFTV.
Justin Spearman, who had just been released from prison in Texas after serving time on wire-fraud charges, is accused of defrauding investors in an alleged Ponzi scheme and using the proceeds toward a multimillion-dollar Winter Park mansion, luxury clothing and cars, WFTV reported.
Spearman, 29, is being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of a bail of more than $2 million, according to WFTV.
