Zion Lutheran boys basketball player Keith Stone and Grandview Prep’s Jamal Palmer were each named to the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches and Source Hoops Class 2A All-State team on Monday.
Stone, a 6-foot-8 forward, was a four-year starter who averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for the Lions. A first team Sun Sentinel Broward All-County selection, Stone signed with the University of Florida.
Palmer, a 6-3 guard, is a two-time Sun Sentinel Palm Beach County Player of the Year. As a senior, Palmer was a first-team all-county selection. He averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists in his final season. He’ll play next year at Lynn.
Atlantic Christian junior Dijoun Farquharson was a second-team selection. Farquharson led Atlantic Christian to its first district title and regional appearance. He averaged 26.2 points, four assists and three steals.
